Tapematic 2Print Integrates DaTARIUS Inspect System

DaTARIUS and Tapematic announced the integration of the latest generation of the DaTARIUS Ident Code Inspector into Tapematic's new generation of printer - the digital 2Print.

"The 2Print handles small batches with the ease of a regular office printer and also enables serialization. Clearly, especially for replicators, quality control checks are crucial, therefore it was decided to integrate the reliable DaTARIUS Ident Code Inspector," said Davide Perego, Controller and Executive Member of the Board for Tapematic.

DaTARIUS recently released its new generation of Ident Code Inspector incorporating digital communication and higher resolution cameras. With this technology, BD and HD DVD identification codes can be inspected with higher resolution and at higher speeds (up to 140 discs per minute).

"Product mixing remains very important for small batch production," adds Luis Sousa, Sales Manager DaTARIUS for South Europe and South America. "The Ident Code Inspector is seamlessly integrated into the 2Print system, and it even can host the printer software application."
