Philips Intelligent Agent 2.0 Released


Philips released a new version of its Intelligent Agent tool, which helps users to keep their Philips products to date.

The tool automatically offers the correct download for the Philips products without searching through long lists.

The new version (2.0) features a new tabbed interface providing a categorized product status overview as well as an optional 'Info' button for each product. It also allows users to add more products without installing a new Philips Intelligent Agent version and has a 'Favorite' section in the menu which will show some relevant links that might be useful. In addition, the updated tool offers support for webcam product update checks. Even though this it is still inactive at this moment, webcam support will be activated automatically and deployed gradually in the near future.

Philips says that the tool does not send any information to Philips or any other company, during the update.

Philips Intelligent Agent v2.0 is available for downloading at http://www.storageupdates.philips.com.
