Imation Adds Security, Capacity to USB Flash Drives


Imation today announced enhancements to its family of USB flash drives.

The Imation Pivot Flash Drive features an upgrade to 256-Bit AES Encryption for added security, while the Imation Clip Flash Drive now sports up to 4GB of capacity for even more storage of important data files.

Current Pivot Flash Drive users can upgrade from 128- to 256-bit encryption by registering online at http://www.imation.com/flash .

For those seeking a sportier flash drive, the Imation Clip Flash Drive is now available with up to 4GB of capacity. Featuring the smallest of USB flash drives encased in a rubberized shell, the Clip Flash Drive 4GB can store more than 8,000 digital photos. The Clip Flash Drive also is available with 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB of capacity.

The Pivot Flash Drive has a suggested retail price of $19.99 to $119.99, depending on capacity, while the Clip Flash Drive 4GB has a suggested retail price of $99.99. Smaller capacities range in price from $14.99 to $59.99.
