Cingular Announces 3G Rollout

Today Cingular announced that it has 3G data coverage in more than 160 markets in the US.

This is great news for anyone who just picked up the hot Samsung Blackjack or any other 3G enabled Smart Phone from Cingular. I tested the Blackjack in both Boston and Prividence and was really blown away by he speed of the new HSPDA network.

It wasn't that long ago that Cingular only had 3G coverage in 17 markets! It is amazing how quickly companies such as Cingular can implement technology such as this all across the country in such record times. Now we just need T-Mobile to join the 3G revolution
