MSI Introduced P6N Series Motherboards

Micro-Star International introduced 3 new motherboards for the premier gaming platform: the P6N series is based on NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI/ 650i SLI/ 650i Ultra MCP which is designed specifically for Intel Core 2 Extreme ( both dual-core & quad-core ) and Core 2 Duo processors. All the hardware design of the P6N series products will be Vista Premium ready.

To continue with the MSI Diamond tradition, the P6N Diamond is the latest standard for the enthusiast level. It supports FSB1333 and up to DDR2 1000 special memory module, FB2000 for overclocking and DDR2 1200 or higher with better CPU and memory modules. The especially built-in 4 PCI-E x16 slot design with x8 or x16 bandwidth is great for gamers. The Quad SLI and other special cards for upgrade are by far the best design for this great 680i chipset specification.

The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio which is the best hardware 7.1 surround audio for all motherboards, gives users great audio experience on BlueRay DVD video and extreme 3D gaming. It's currently the best solution for home theater and for extreme gaming purposes. Besides the great performance and spec, MSI includes the eSATA solution with power on instant backup technology that enables end users to backup their system drive easily and give them more data protection! The P6N Diamond is totally prepared for great gamers, family server or workstation and home media center.

Besides the enthusiast products, P6N SLI Platinum is also an extreme SLI gaming platform for mainstream gaming users. The Core 2 Quad processors and Vista Premium are the basic functions of this motherboard. Built with 2 PCI-E slots to support SLI graphic and either f1 PCI-E 16x or 2 PCI-E 8x.

FSB 1066 and DDR2 800 is only the standard, but P6N SLI Platinum can reach FSB2000 and DDR2 1200 because of its unique components condition which gives a great overclocking range to all gamers. It also comes with built-in in 4 SATA NV RAID and 1 extra eSATA for instant back-up function, allowing users to back-up their own data easily and directly when the system is on.

The P6N SLI Platinum will soon be out in the market around the end of December, it will have a specially designed chipset heatsink solution that allows users to overclock easily and reduce significant heat that may cause the board to breakdown due to high temperature.

The all-new P6N series motherboards represent the hardware foundation that enables users to build their own definitive gaming PC platforms and experience high resolution, high-performance gaming and stellar high-definition visuals.
