ASUS EN8800 Series Scores 10,531 on 3DMark06 with First DirectX 10-Ready Graphics Cards


ASUSTeK Computer announced the EN8800 series, which includes the world's first DirectX 10-ready graphics cards and provides powerful video capability to score 10,531 on 3DMark06.

To offer the e-sport community greater value on their gaming system investments, the EN8800 series includes two hot 3D games: Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and GTI Racing. The EN8800 series currently consists of two models, the EN8800GTX/HTDP/768M and EN8800GTS/HTDP/640M.

World?s fastest and first DirectX 10-ready graphics cards

The EN8800GTX/HTDP/768M scored *10,531 in 3DMark06 at 1280x1024 resolution, making it one of the most powerful solutions in the market. Both models of the EN8800 series are powered by the Microsoft-certified DirectX 10-ready GPU from NVIDIA. The EN8800 series is fully-compatible with Shader Model 4.0, and enables efficient batch process of game objects and data, and allows a far richer and more immersive gaming experience. DirectX 10 support also means compatibility with the up coming Microsoft Vista operating system for future upgrades.

3D Games and benchmarking tool bundle

The EN8800 series bundles Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter from Ubisoft and GTI Racing from Techland. 3Dmark06 Advanced Version, the premier graphics benchmark software, is also available with the purchase of the two new graphics cards. Whether it's for gamers or overclockers, the EN8800 series offers excellent value in return.

Splendid Video Intelligence Technology

The new EN8800 series incorporates Splendid Video Intelligence Technology, an exclusive feature found only on ASUS solutions. With Splendid, images enabled by ASUS graphics cards are fine tuned to deliver vibrant visual representations in conditions most favorable to the human eye. Splendid works on top of NVIDIA's PureVideotm technology to offer sharp decoded video
