In addition to the standard connections, the new LIFEBOOK C Series features a serial and a parallel interface and a modular bay, which can be used for a an optical drive or a supplementary rechargeable battery that allows the battery lifetime to be boosted to up to 12 hours (depending on the model and the applications involved).
