Lenovo, IBM to recall 526,000 notebook batteries


Lenovo and IBM are recalling about 526,000 Sony batteries made for ThinkPad notebook PCs

after a computer caught fire at Los Angeles International Airport, Lenovo and U.S. safety officials said on Thursday. The announcement follows similar recalls by Dell Inc. and Apple Computer Inc. , also involving Sony notebook batteries.
