New Samsung Phones for Sprint and T-Mobile

The upcoming Samsung phones for T-Mobile and Sprint, the SGH-T619 and SPH-M500, share the same design and similar features and are respectively quad-band GSM/EDGE and CDMA/EV-DO phones.

The T619 flip (separated-at-birth twin of Sprint's SPH-M500) and T629 slider have quietly started filtering into the hands of users, too. The unassuming, midrange handsets' spec sheets roughly mirror one another, packing 1.3-megapixel cams and Bluetooth. Either one can be had for $150 on contract -- after all the applicable rebates. Some of their features are clamshell design, internal antenna, two color displays, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and slot for microSD cards.

Appearing with the T629 is the T519; both will likely have MicroSD and 70 / 80MB of internal memory respectively.

We thank Engadget for the pictures of the upcoming Samsung phones.
