XFX Announces New 7900GS and 7950GT

XFX following Nvidia's official press release announced several new products, including 7900GS and 7950GT cards for enthousiast users.

- 7900GS

"...Gamers thrive on high velocity technology, speed and power, all of which are at the core of XFX?s blazin? hot GeForce 7900 GS graphics card. Taking visual acuity to an entirely new level, this card helps gamers keep an edge over their competition. This HDTV-ready card provides world-class TV-out functionality up to 1080i resolution. Also SLI-ready, this card enables gamers to run two graphics cards at the same time, for twice the performance capabilities. The must-have for performance PCI-Express graphics, SLI dramatically scales performance on more than 60 of the top PC games.

For gamers who like to live large, the GeForce 7900 GS features Dual DVI, enabling it to drive the industry?s largest and highest resolution flat-panel displays. There is also a DVI to Analog Adapter that converts VGA outputs to a DVI connector. The card features 20 pixel processors, seven vertex processors and 256-bit memory bus.

The GeForce 7900 GS graphics card offerd at two versions with 256MB of DDR3 RAM:

- GF 7900 GS EXTREME (Engine clock 480 and Memory clock 1.40GHz)

- GF 7900 GS (Engine clock 450 and Memory clock 1.32GHz)

- 7950GT

"...For gamers, there?s just the usual stunning cinematic realism, thanks to DirectX 9.0 and Shader Model 3.0 support. SLI-ready, this card also enables gamers to run two graphics cards at the same time, for twice the performance capabilities. Then there?s the True High Dynamic-Range (HDR) Rendering Support, which improves lighting effects, shading, filtering, texturing and blending for truly life-like graphics. And then there?s the UltraShadow II technology that brings the scenes to realistic life with multiple light sources and objects. Oh, and finally, there?s that whole high-end gaming experience, without the high-end gaming price tag.

For graphic designers and engineers, the GeForce 7950 GT delivers high frame rates for applications that feature large or complex graphics. And, it?s fully compatible with such applications as AutoCAD and Bryce.

This HDTV-ready card provides world-class TV-out functionality up to 1080i resolution. It also allows play back of HD DVD and features PureVideo HD technology that accelerates video decoding to output for clean, clear video playback. Dual DVI enables it to support two 2560x1600 resolution displays. Microsoft Windows Vista compatible, users will experience an even more spectacular 3-D experience when using this card.

An essential component for an HDCP setup, the GeForce 7950 GT features a core clock of 550MHZ, with PCI Express graphics bus technology. It has a 256-bit memory interface and 44.8 GB/sec bandwidth..."

The GeForce 7950 GT graphics card offerd at two versions with 512MB of DDR3 RAM:
