In light of AMD's recent AM2 launch and the impending release of Intel's Conroe, Mushkin is focused on bringing the end-user great performing DDR-2 at market leading value. "Our objective for the EM2-6400 is to bring DDR2-800 speeds to the masses," said Brian Flood, Director of Mushkin Research and Development, "With the launch of AMD's AM2 platform, demand for higher frequency value-oriented parts, like the EM2-6400, has increased. Additionally, these modules offer plug and play support for many AM2 motherboards and future Intel chipsets." The Mushkin EM2-6400 will be available on mushkin.com and should hit all major resellers by the end of the month.
