RITEK Introduces New Line up of Storage Media Products at Computex

RITEK will showcase its latest products and developments in Computex Taipei 2006, the annual event of the IT industry.

In this year?s Computex, RITEK is planning to display products from three major categories: the optical storage media would include blue ray discs, HD DVD, BD-R/BD-Re and high speed DVD/CD discs; in the memory card series category, the high capacity Rugged CF and Mobile Flash Card would be the main items. Furthermore, the CES show?s ?Cheery Pick Award? winners - DVB-T and Solar Charger will also be making an appearance at Computex with new designs of high capacities.

Ritek said that recordable Blue Ray discs are now ready for mass production. Apart from the preparations for Blue Ray discs, RITEK has also planned to mass produce HD DVD-R and HD DVD-RW media. However, HD DVD will not be the only focus of the spot light; BD-R/BD-RE is also scheduled for display at the event. In addition, Ritek will also present a complete package of DVD/CD discs, including 16X DVD±R, 8X DVD+RW, 6X DVD-RW, 5X DVD-RAM, 8X DVD±R DL, and Printable DVD/CD discs.

Ritek will also exhibit product lineups such as the RIDATA150X CF, 150X MMC, 150X SD and USB Drives. The multi-functional, Rugged CF cards with high capacity will be another key item at the Computex fair. The RIDATA Rugged CF is a reliable data recorder that is compatible with any micro drives; built to perform at harsh working temperatures and capable of storing data under any conditions.

In the lineup for the RIDATA USB flash drive series, the Laser Point USB Drive designed for business person, the ultra Mini EZ Drive, the cute Boy & Girl USB Drive and the Mini Spin USB Drive would all be presented in the fair.

RITEK will also be showcasing new consumer electronics such as DVB-T and Solar Charger. The RIDATA DVB-T T100 uses the USB interface for users to watch digital TV through a computer at any place and time so they would never miss their favorite program ever again. The RIDATA Solar Charger is a portable battery charger that is powered by solar energy. Both of these products have won the ?Cheery Picks? award for new products in the CES show in early 2006.
