The newest family member of the Radeon X1800 series, the Radeon X1800 GTO will be available from ATI's add-in-board partners by the end of the month at a suggested retail price of $249.

Radeon X1800 GTO has 12 pixel shader processors, a 256-bit GDDR3 memory interface and operates at 500 MHz core and 1000 MHz memory speeds.

The Canadian company also officialy announced today the Avivo Video Converter, a tool that will allow convertion of PC-based videos for play on portable players.

In less than 5 minutes, the Avivo Video Converter can convert 30 minutes of video into a format playable by today's more popular portable video devices, according to ATI.

The Avivo Video Converter is available today, as a wizard found within Catalyst Control Centre 6.3. The Avivo Video Converter outputs videos compatible with DVD/DivX player or portable media devices such as the Apple iPod, Sony PSP, Creative Zen and many others.
