Acer plans to launch its branded PMP (portable multi-media player) product line in Europe in March, market sources report.

The Acer MP500 will feature a 3.5-inch display and built-in 20/40GB hard disk drive. The device is expected to be priced between 300-350 euros (US$350-420) and weighs about 200g.
