ATI Introduces New Mobile Workstation Graphics Technology


ATI introduced its next generation mobile workstation technology with the Mobility FireGL V5200, available in the Lenovo ThinkPad T60p.

The Mobility FireGL V5200 features 256MB of memory, 12 pixel shader processors and a five vertex shader units to drive complex models and assemblies. The product has been certified for professional 3D applications such as AutoCAD, Catia, ICEM Surf, 3dsmax, Maya and Softimage/XSI. The Mobility FireGL V5200 promises low power consumption giving to the ThinkPad T60 a battery life of up to eight hours.

ATI's FireGL products, for both desktop and mobile solutions are supported by a unified driver and come with a three-year warranty.
