Adobe Upgrades Its Video Tools Collection

Adobe has released upgraded versions of After Effects, Premiere Pro, Encore DVD and Audition. As well as being available individually, they are bundled as the Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio, which is the company?s new name for the Video Collection.

The standard version of the Production Studio includes After Effects 7.0 Standard, Premiere Pro 2.0, Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Bridge. The Premium edition includes After Effects 7.0 Professional, Premiere Pro 2.0, Audition 2.0, Encore DVD 2.0, Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2 and Adobe Bridge.

The software ships with Adobe Bridge, and supports the Creative Suite Production Bundle?s Direct Link technology.

Purchasers of either bundle will gain access to Adobe?s new Dynamic Link technology. This allows After Effects compositions to be used within Premiere sequences and Encore DVD projects without rendering. Any changes made to the original composition will be automatically updated in the sequence or project, again without having to wait for rendering. The Bridge asset management tool has been upgraded to support media and projects files for the video products.

For more information on the individual elements of the Creative Suite Production Studio visit http://www.adobe.com/products/productionstudio/main.html.
