ATI Gives Radeon X1600 Series For Less than $200


The Canadian company said that it will offer its series of Radeon X1600 video card for less than $200 for the Christmas period.

The Radeon X1600 XT feature's ATI's Avivo technology and promises visual quality and high 3D graphics performance. ATI will offer a 256MB version of the card for $179 USD, and a the Radeon X1600 Pro with 256 MB of memory for $129 USD.

The new Radeon X1600 XT also features 256-bit ring-bus memory controller and support for up to 512 MB of RAM.

For the more budget conscious, Radeon X1300 and Radeon X1300 Pro bring ATI's Avivo video technology, as well as DirectX 9 and Shader Model 3.0 support to the performance mainstream and value markets. Radeon X1300 and X1300 Pro editions are available for under $100 USD.
