With the new phones in the BenQ Mobile A-Series the clamshell and slider forms are now on offer to entry-level users at last.
The new models from the Benq-Siemens alliance on mobile phones promise superior quality, reliability and convenience with compact forms, as well as all the essential voice and messaging features required for daily communication needs.
All models have an ergonomic keypad layout and offer a simplified navigation, straightforward menu options and a colored user interface. Fast access to functions is aided by ?short-cuts?. Programmable soft keys, 32-chord polyphonic ringtones and wallpaper additionally permit personalization of the new A-Series mobiles.
The phones are equipped with a color display (at least 128 x 128 pixels, 65,536 colors) and offer WAP and GPRS access along with MMS functions. Additionally, all travel and leisure needs are covered on the new A-Series mobiles by an organizer, the preinstalled emergency phone book, a survival dictionary for several languages, and at least two games.
The Siemens AF51 is a small and slim clamshell phone (79 x 41 x 20 mm) that combines connectivity with style, making it a great value for money. The external (96 x 64 pixels) display boasts a mirror effect, while the internal display (130x130 pixels) is protected by scratch-resistant glass. Moreover, both displays are in full color (65,536 colors). The AF51 comes in satin metallic colors of Black and Grey.
The second model, codenamed AL21, features a cool design, an integrated antenna and programmable keypad sounds. Voice, messaging and organizer functions are intergrated in the phone, which is available in fashion colors Red and Black.
Casual organization encapsulates the Siemens A31. Minimalism meets efficiency in this slender phone that contains essential organizer technology. It includes a calendar with incorporated reminder function and an alarm clock, MMS pictures, animation or logos. The silver metallic finish of the A31 with chrome accents in Anthracite or Ruby Red maximize comfort in handling and carrying.
