Warning for Nikon D50, D70 or D100 US Owners

Nikon USA recalls specific rechargeable lithium ion battery packs used in Nikon D50, D70 and D100 digital cameras.

The EN-EL3 battery used in the cameras could possibly short circuit so they are being replaced with the newer EN-EL3a. You can go to Nikon's website to see if your battery is affected and fill out a form to have your battery replaced.
