The second global BDA seminar is held in Taiwan today at TICC (Taipei International Conference Center).
Attendees include world renown manufacturers such as Sharp, ASUS, Lite-On, Ritek, Leader Electronic, Yokogawa Electric, and Ono-sokki. CyberLink hosts the seminar and showcases the company's BD solutions PowerDVD, PowerProducer, Power2Go, and InstantBurn. Demonstrations include layback and burning of Blu-Ray media, running on platforms utilizing MediaTek chipsets.
"If MediaTek's chipset harnesses Blu-ray technologies, then it's CyberLink's playback and burning innovation that realizes and propels Blu-ray formats into the mainstream," said Ping-Hsing Lu, General Manager of Optical Storage at MediaTek. "The unprecedented high-definition and distinct advantage of Blu-ray technologies are very attractive to our customers, for we envision forging our partnership with CyberLink further and continuing to prosper together by providing and developing Blu-ray solutions for everyone."
