Plextor Europe announced a new updated version of its PlexTools Professional XL software, supporting new features.

Targeted at those working in the field of Video conversion, - capturing and - storage, its new functionality will enable both Home- and Professional users to take fully advantage of Plextor ConvertX series.

PlexTools Professional XL has been enhanced with Video support and a multitude of new functions:

- Video capture from Plextor ConvertX with full-screen preview option.
- Audio capture from video streams to WAV or MP3 audio files.
- Programmable scheduler for unattended recordings.
- Support for web cams with security monitor function.
- DV camera support in all functions.

PlexTools Professional XL version 3.05 is available for purchase at www.plextools.com since October 2005. A fourteen-day trial period is available. Corporate packs of 10 and 25 licenses are also available at a discounted cost.
