SiS Announces Mobile Chipset License Agreement with Intel


SiS announced today that it has signed a long-term licensing contract with Intel Mobile Products Group for the manufacture and sale of chipsets supporting the Inte Pentium M processors with a 533MHz front side bus.

The new SiS656MX, SiS649MX, SiSM661MX, SiSM662MX, and SiSM670MX 533FSB mobile chipsets will support either PCI Express technology or AGP8x GPU?s, integrated GPU or open architectures.
