MSI Unveils Hetis 915 Barebone System


Hetis 915 is latest slim type desktop PC fo MSI. The new product features a very compact design and a silent operation noise.

Based on Intel 915GL chipset, Hetis 915 supports the latest Intel Pentium 4 Prescott (LGA775) CPU. The graphics are powered by the integrated Intel GMA 900 graphics. Improved from Intel Extreme Graphics 2 in Intel 865G chipset, the new graphics engine supports DirectX 9.0.

7.1 channel High Definition Audio is also supported making watching of DVD movie an enjoyment.

The rear side of the device includes a USB 2.0, IEEE 1394, 7.1 channel audio port, S-Video, RCA connector, DVI, LAN and two full PCI slots.

Expanding the features of the previous MEGA PC series, Hetis 915 features 7-in-1 card reader. It supports one more format, MS-Pro, For most of Digital Camera, DV or portable devices users, Hetis 915 is a very convenient platform to read and write files in memory cards.

Operation moise is important for most users. Hetis 915GL used "MSI Specific Linear Fan Speed Control" to control fan. This specific method guarantees silence in idle mode but also make user feel comfortable in working mode because the fan will spin smoothly based on real system loading. According to MSI, even in full loading mode (The loading is equal to Intel P4 Max Power 75%), the acoustic will not exceed 42dB.
