ViewSonic Announces 20-Inch LCD TV Offers High Performance and Style at Low Price

ViewSonic announced a 20-inch LCD TV that offers consumers a stylish and affordable option for smaller-screen television and video entertainment.

At an estimated street price of $449, the N2010 provides high-quality video performance and features a sleek new design that is ideal for the kitchen counter, bedroom table or dorm room.

The N2010 delivers vivid colors and sharp, life-like images with 450 nits of brightness and a 500:1 contrast ratio. Multiple connectivity features--including composite, component (YPbPr) and S-Video--enable simple connection to cable, game consoles, DVD players and camcorders, while a 16 millisecond response time minimizes lag time for moving video and high-speed gaming. Compatibility with EDTV (480p) progressive scan DVD players, along with an advanced processor with reverse 3:2 pull down and 4H adaptive comb filter combine to provide optimum performance for viewing video entertainment.

"Consumers can now expect high quality entertainment at an affordable price when purchasing flat screen televisions for rooms beyond the home's entertainment epicenter," said Jeff Volpe, vice president of marketing, ViewSonic Corp. "With the introduction of the N2010, buyers will enjoy a thin, affordable and stylish LCD TV that produces a vivid video experience for any entertainment environment--from the den to the dorm room to an RV."

With an integrated 181-channel TV tuner, viewers can enjoy off-air television channels, as well as up to 125 cable channels. Two 5-watt audio speakers are built-in and accommodating audio connections are offered to further enhance the multimedia experience, while parental control and closed caption options are available to help customize each user's viewing experience. The VESA compliant N2010 is wall mountable, making it ideal for installations where space is limited.

Available now through authorized resellers, retailers, distributors and mail order, the N2010 is backed by a one-year limited warranty on parts, labor and backlight. ViewSonic offers 24-hour, toll-free technical support, seven days a week. For more information or to locate an authorized ViewSonic dealer, visit www.viewsonic.com/lcdtv or call 800-888-8583.
