Pioneer aims to the North American DVD Recording market


Pioneer enters the North America DVD Recording market announcing the availability of "DVR-7000" DVD recorder this fall.

The company believes that the North America market is continually growing and estimates that the amount of sales of the DVD players will reach the 13.200 units, (the entire world sales are estimated to 25.500 / JEITA).

The same model is planed to be shipped in Japan in the and of July and will be priced at $2,800
