Matsushita presents new CD-R/DVD-ROM drive


Matsushita-Kotobuki Electronics Industries announced a new CD-R/DVD-ROM drive. The "LK-RC8571TZ" is an ATAPI internal model and supports 8x writing and rewriting speeds, 32x reading and 8x DVD-ROM reading.

Other features:
Buffer: 8.2MB
Access time (random): 125ms (DVD), 95ms (CD)
Attached software: WinCDR(Japnese WriteSoft)","PacketMan(Japnese PacketWriteSoft)" and DVD-Video Player"PowerDVD VR-X".

The sales are scheduled to start in Japan on 10th of July.
