BenQ unveils new home theater LCD displays


BenQ unveiled its stylish new 32-inch widescreen DV3250 Home Theater LCD Display featuring a 12ms response time, SRS TruSurround XT and Senseye Technology.

The DV3250 features BenQ?s proprietary ?Senseye? digital-enhancement technology which provides fine-tuned, true-to-life images. Senseye technology optimizes the color, clarity, motion and contrasts of images by using a YUV Domain Engine to handle an image?s brightness and color separately thereby eliminating source signal noise. The DV3250 also features 10-bit processing that can handle over 1.07 billion colors thus enhancing the consumer?s viewing experience.

In addition to providing superb image quality, the DV3250 is also equipped with SRS TruSurround XT, generating deeper audio imaging. SRS TruSurround XT features 5.1 channel surround sound and patterned cinema-like bass resonance technology to provide more realistic sounds and richer bass tones. The SRS TruSurround XT also allows the dialogue voice to be centralized, making it easier for the sounds to be heard.

The DV3250 also features also features Directional Correlational Deinterlacing (DCDi), which analyzes images pixel by pixel to produce a pure image without visible artefacts or jabbed edges. DCDi yields smoother and more natural moving images.

The BenQ DV3250 is currently available in markets worldwide.

The BenQ DV2050 features a slim, compact design and offers a comfortable and convenient screen tilt (0-10 degrees) to provide the consumer with an exceptional viewing experience.

The BenQ DV2050 will be available here in Europe from July 2005.
