UMD video titles for PlayStation portable to become available in Japan from April


Sony has announced that the highly anticipated Universal Media Disc (UMD) Video software titles for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) will become available from various content developers and publishers for the Japanese market starting in April.

UMD is a newly developed compact but high-capacity optical disc and adopted as PSP's storage medium. As many as 27 leading content developers and publishers have expressed support for UMD.
