Intel Bundles InterVideo into Motherboards

InterVideo Inc., a provider of DVD software, announced that Intel Corp. is including its latest multimedia suite, InterVideo MediaOne Silver, with Intel 945/955 Express chipset-based desktop motherboards.

"There is a growing need to provide a broad multimedia suite to easily create, edit and share digital multimedia content," said Joel Christensen, director of marketing, Intel desktop board operations, in a statement. "We're pleased to provide InterVideo MediaOne Silver for our customers to enjoy."

InterVideo MediaOne Silver aims to turn an Intel desktop board-based PC into a complete multimedia center for TV, videos, video CDs, VCR tapes, photo slideshows and music from audio CD, MP3 or WMA files. Included with InterVideo MediaOne Silver are PhotoAlbum Gold, DiscMaster Gold, WinDVD Creator Silver, and MediaOne LaunchPad to handle these applications.
