Sony Ericsson to launch Walkman phone in 3Q


Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications will launch its Walkman phone

The W800i, will incorporate a 2-megapixel digital camera and will launch in Taiwan in the third quarter of this year, according to Steve Yeh, general manager of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications International AB Taiwan.

Sony Ericsson introduced six handset models, all of which will be showcased at CeBIT 2005, in Taiwan yesterday. The lineup includes the Z800i and K600i, two third-generation (3G) models, the K750i with a built-in 2-megapixel camera, the K300i and J300i multimedia-capable phones and the W800i Walkman phone.
