ATI PCI Express Graphics Chips Added to PCI-SIG Integrators List

ATI Technologies Inc. (TSX:ATY) (NASDAQ:ATYT) today announced that the PCI-SIG has added 16 of its PCI Express graphics chips to the PCI-SIG Integrators list.

The ATI products added to the list join the RADEON X600, the industry's first PCI Express graphics chip, which was listed earlier this year.

"ATI has always been a PCI Express leader," said Rick Bergman, senior vice president for ATI's PC Business Unit. "ATI was the first company to publicly demonstrate the benefits of PCI Express graphics, sampling thousands of PCI Express graphics cards to worldwide partners to aid in their PCI Express product introduction. By shipping millions of PCI Express graphics chips since the launch of PCI Express computers, ATI has enabled its OEM partners, and the industry overall, to quickly transition to the new standard."

The 16 new additions to the list include 14 discrete graphics chips and two motherboard chipsets for use in desktops, workstations or notebooks. The PCI-SIG Integrators list indicates that a product has been tested in adherence with the PCI Express specification guidelines. Additionally, ATI conducted its own testing with the leading chipset and motherboard manufacturers and OEMs to thoroughly test its products to further ensure compatibility. Some of the co-validated motherboards that have gone through ATI's interoperability program are listed here: http://www.ati.com/buy/promotions/pciexpress/onboard.html

PCI Express products from ATI are currently shipping through OEMs, system integrators and retailers around the world.
