MSI today announced the debut of nForce4 chipset family motherboards.

The MSI K8N Diamond and K8N Neo4 Platinum motherboards offer cinematic processing with powerful PCI Express x16 graphics interface and Nvidia's exclusive SLI technology.

Ever since AMD Athlon 64 and Athlon64FX seized the crown in the 64-bit processing world; users nowadays have high expectation on AMD64 processor. The cinematic processing for virtual reality and 3D games has become one of the most-expected features by PC enthusiasts and power gamers alike. MSI has also adopted the Silicon Image RAID controller for its nForce4 family motherboards. It offers two additional ports with SATA2 for K8N Diamond and RAID 5 function for K8N Neo4 Platinum. In addition, MSI has integrated more exclusive technologies onboard, including CoreCell chip, D.O.T. (Dynamic Overclocking Technology), Meta I/O and Communication Slot.

The Communication Slot is an optimized and extended version of the basic PCI specification to provide ultimate interface for PCI network cards. MSI develops proprietary Dual-Net card exclusively for communication slot(s) which combine 802.11g wireless networking with Bluetooth technology. This add-on card with antenna offers convenient connection to most wireless devices.
