Advanced Media Adds RIDATA 11-IN-1 Memory Card Reader/Writer


Advanced Media, Inc., a subsidiary of RITEK Corporation, one of the world?s largest optical media manufacturers, has added an 11-in-1 memory card reader/writer to its line of RIDATA-brand products.

The unit, with USB 2.0 high-speed connectivity, supports virtually all of the most popular storage cards, including many newer formats.

The RIDATA 11-in-1 memory card reader is compatible with the following formats: CompactFlash Types I and II; Microdrive?; SmartMedia?; MultiMedia?; reduced-size MultiMedia?; Secure Digital?; mini Secure Digital?; Memory Stick?; Memory Stick? PRO; and Memory Stick? Duo. Additionally, it supports Windows98/98SE/ME/2000/XP, Mac operating systems, and Linux Kernel.

USB 2.0 compliant, the unit offers true plug-and-play capability as well as high-speed connection and a transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps. Its compact size allows users to easily transport it for use virtually anywhere a PC or laptop is available. A driver-CD is included in the package.
