I/OMagic Unveils New GigaBank 4.0 Portable Storage Device

New GigaBank 4.0 has 32 times the Storage Capacity of a Standard 128MB Memory Card and Can Fit in Your Pocket

I/OMagic Corporation (OTCBB:IOMG - News), a provider of data storage and digital entertainment products, today announced the launch of its new GigaBank(TM) 4.0 Portable Storage Device. The GigaBank(TM) 4.0 Portable Storage Device has 4.0 GB(a) of storage capacity and is compact and lightweight. It measures only 2.5" x 2.0," which is smaller than the size of a credit card, and is only 0.5" thick. The GigaBank(TM) 4.0 Portable Storage Device requires no batteries or power adapters and comes with a convenient carrying case. "The GigaBank(TM) 4.0 Portable Storage Device can be used for storing important files, backing up your computer, storing and transporting digital photos and MP3s or transferring files from one computer to another," said Tony Andrews, Vice President of Engineering and Product Development for I/OMagic Corporation. "It has more than 32 times the storage capacity of a standard 128MB(a) memory card and is small enough to be carried in your pocket."

The I/OMagic GigaBank(TM) 4.0 Portable Storage Device is powered through the use of a built-in USB 2.0 connector, which can be stored in the drive enclosure when it is not in use. The GigaBank(TM) 4.0 Portable Storage Device currently supports Windows XP/2000/ME/98SE.

I/OMagic anticipates shipping its new GigaBank(TM) 4.0 Portable Storage Device in late September 2004 to Circuit City, Office Depot and Staples stores at an introductory suggested retail price of $179.99.

I/OMagic also offers a GigaBank(TM) 2.2 Portable Storage Device, which was released in early September 2004. It is available at Circuit City and Staples stores.
