Nokia launches 6670 business phone

Nokia has unveiled a mobile phone for business users that incorporates a camera with a megapixel resolution, beefing up a patchy handset portfolio that has cost it market share.

The 6670 model would be available in early October, the world's top handset maker said. The smartphone, which uses Symbian software, would be sold at around 500 euros ($612), Nokia Oyj said in a statement.

Nokia pleased the market this month when it said earnings would fall by less than expected in the third quarter thanks to strong handset demand.

But the firm still lacks phones with cameras and a foldaway design. It has a number of phones due out this quarter and next as it seeks to claw back market share from rivals such as Samsung Electronics.
