NitroAV Premiers 8-Port FireWire 800/1394b Professional Hub/Repeater

NitroAV.com premieres the industry's first and only professional series, 8-Port FireWire 800/1394b Hub/Repeater for external or internal applications.

Based on the latest Texas Instruments chip-sets this professional FireWire 800/1394 8-Port Hub/Repeater is designed to deliver up to double the transfer-speed of the original FireWire technology allowing to connect multiple computers, digital video, digital audio, home entertainment components and peripherals.

Perfect for networking, high-end digital audio/video workstations for ultra fast data transfers. Connecting powered or non-powered devices, the included power supply will drive up to seven low-powered devices or if internally integrated, the hub has a 4-Pin DC power connector.

The Hub also acts as a FireWire 800/1394b repeater, so you can place devices up to an additional 15 feet (4.5 meters) from other connected FireWire 800 devices and peripherals. As always FireWire 800/1394b is backwards compatible with FireWire 400/1394a standards.
