BenQ and Coretronic plan to offer projectors with built-in DVD players

BenQ and Coretronic have been developing new projector models equipped with built-in DVD players, according to the two companies.

The products will be targeted at the educational market, BenQ and Coretronic indicated.

However, both companies will not launch projectors with built-in DVD players until they can reduce the size of such projectors to a desirable size.

According to local makers, Meiloon Industrial, a Taiwanese producer of audio equipment, assembled projectors with built-in DVD players for US-based Eiki in the first half of this year.
