Kodak intros 5Mp, 10x-zoom DX7590

Kodak has introduced a new Easyshare DX7590 digital camera.

The camera will ship this month at a suggested retails price of £323 plus VAT. It sports 5Mp resolution and a 10x optical zoom lens. The camera has 16 pre-programmed scene modes, aperture and shutter priority modes and also features fully manual controls over aperture, shutter speed, flash and exposure compensation. It's equipped with an external flash synch. Equipped with a 2.2-inch LCD screen, the camera includes 32MB of built-in memory and can store additional photos on SD/MMC flash memory cards. The "Share" button tags pictures you've just taken for e-mailing, printing or saving to an on-camera digital photo album. The camera is controlled via a joystick and jog-dials, and it's compatible with Kodak's Easyshare Camera Dock 6000, an interface that provides data transfer to a Mac or PC and also charges up the camera's rechargeable lithium-ion battery in about three hours. Also included is Kodak Easyshare v4.0 software, a digital photo organizing, editing, sharing and printing utility.
