Why does NT report that my drive has bad blocks during installation?

More than likely, this has nothing to do with hard drive corruption. Rather, it is a problem caused by corrupt NT installation disks. We recommend that you attempt re-installation with a new copy of the NT Installation diskettes. To create new floppies, format 3 disks on the computer where you are planning to install Windows NT, then from the CD-ROM \i386 directory type "WINNT /OX." This builds a fresh set of install floppy disks.
