Check the system BIOS to make certain the A: drive is available as a boot drive. If it is and the error still occurs this is an indication of a bad boot floppy or a drive which is out of calibration. To create new floppies, format 3 disks on the computer where you are planning to install Windows NT, then from the CD-ROM \i386 directory type "WINNT /OX." This builds a fresh set of install floppy disks.
