My Quantum® SCSI drive doesn't spin up when I apply power to it.

Spin up jumper needed.

Some of the Quantum® high performance SCSI drives: Atlas-I, Atlas-II, Atlas III, Saturn, and Capella, must have a jumper in place to allow the drive to spin up when power is supplied. Check the jumper settings on the unit to make sure the spin up option (if supported) is properly enabled. Please review the product archives or the Enterprise Drives Support Page for SCSI jumper guides and jumper settings for these drives.
