A federal judge dismissed a long- running suit filed by Microsoft against the Texas- based hosting company.

"Even though we were the underdog, we expected a positive outcome all along, so at C I Host we are ecstatic that the court dismissed the case," said Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "This is great news, and it is a fantastic way to build momentum for 2005. We look forward to proceeding with our hosting plans as a Microsoft Gold Certified Business Partner under the agreement."

Faulkner said terms of the agreement with Microsoft are confidential, and that he is not at liberty to discuss the matter further.

First thing that came into my mind - I can almost hear MS lawyers thinking after hammering out that "deal":
"Mr. Faulkner, if you really think you won the case, think again. You were bought and gagged... and you'd better start thinking what are you doing in few years... and where."
