hey guys i jus went into stroe and picked up 200 of dvd-r 4x cd and i put iot in the burner and it cant read the disccc i have a lg Gsa 4160b burner and it cant read the cd so i was wondering is there anything i can do to make it work if thre is plzz helpp guy i bought 200 of them or else all gonna go to waisteee thankx

umm i dont know brand but it says Dvd-r 4.7Gb 4x AN32 (03162103) thats wat it says at the back side and when i bought i aksed the guy if it would work with my burner he said yah but not its not working :( i changed my Dvd burner into Master Drive still no work so if there is anythign plz help

OK, if I am not wrong the ID is also the AN32. I don't want to disappoint you, moreover its a single opinion, but I don't trust too much those media.

Yes, it's definately the media......sometimes you "DO" get what you pay for.

But i'm kind of surprise that your burner do not recognizes those.
I own a 4120B, and i've burn maybe a dozen of them before i ran out. It did an OK job on these, but far from stellar! I'll never buy them again!

Be aware that AN32, are a very low quality product!

AN31, AN32 are low quality, but are not "oddball" codes - the Liteon code list is rather short but the Liteon drives have the code - though that may just mean the drive knows what media it's making a coaster of... actually, I think the Liteon "3S" series sdrives began shown uncharacteristically ok results on AN31 in tests, as they normally do not like low grade DVD-R one bit!

The NEC drives are likely to handle them, and I'd be surprised to find a drive that didn't know them in current firmware, with rotten results, maybe.

You aren't mistakenly trying to use the clear protector, are you ... don't laugh, a friend of mine did precisely that, the first time they used a shrinkwrap pack.


Also, if you have been repeatedly trying the top one, put the top one or two to one side, on a spare spindle or case, and try a different one - especially if it's a shrinkwrap, the outer one or two may be damaged.
