Can it be that I only can edit/delete my last post? It´s because I can edit on page 2 only my last post, not my earlier post

All these speed readings are cool, but what about reading quality?

Would also like to see some others tested:

BenQ DVP1650V
LG GDR 8163B
Sony DDU1622
Samsung TS-H532A
Plextor PX-130A
Pioneer DVD-122
MSI D16-B2

If you can get your hands on them that is.

Do you talking about the error-correction? When yes, I don´t have a idea how to test. Had no bad burned DVD´s to test it. I can scratch a DVD to test what the drive can read, but that´s no real indicator for scratched discs from another user.

Yes unfortunaly, either you would have to create a scratched media or a bad burned one, which of course no-one can confirm it, for Pro testing, there are special media that are standarized, and we are using for our test results

Jepp, so it is. I can´t make a DVD with exact scratches like the ABEX

Gabe, yes i imagine, make a custom scratched media, try not to make so hard scratches or make some black spots, but in general its hard to make a disc that will work OK with most drives, meaning that many drives may easily read it, while other reject it

How is the Aopen drive when it comes to reading scratched media? I have an lg-4163 burner, never got a dvd-rom like I was going to. The 4163 I have seems to fail ripping dvds I have with even the smallest of scratches/belmishes.

Thanks
