GAlright guys.. first of all i have to say that you have a great forum and i see you have helped a lot of people.. well here is my turn..

I recently flashed my NEC 3500AG DVD writer with Liggy's 2.18 firmware.
All went alright.. the drive still burns OK..

I have noticed two little problems though.. and i need your opinion on what to do!

1. After i finish burning a DVD with DVDShrink, the finalized DVD cannot be read when put inside NEC .. my PC freezes and ANYDVD comes up with the following error:

I just patched with the firmware, i havent done anything more (should have?)

and 2. When trying to use my NEC 3500AG drive with DVD Decrypter the buffer goes all up and is unable to go above 2.3 reading speed...

Does this have to do wit hthe firmware? What do you suggest i do?
Your help will be much appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

Did you rip with DVD Decrypter and remove the region settings?

By the way, ripping through my PIONEER works OK with DVD Decrypter.. no buffer overload

2.C8 and newer firmware don't know if improved the reading abilities of the drive
