Hi,

Can someome give me some help on the following :

I purchased CD-R's with capacity 870MB (or 99 minutes)but I get errors ever time I try to burn over 702 mb

Tried with
1)Primera
Burns till 702MB and then gives a buffer overrun and
ejects after I use the options below

2) Nero Ver 5.5.7.6
Insuffient disk space and stops and ejects the CD

Tried DAO with no MULISESSION at a speed of 4x and a
burn time of 98 minutes. No luck

Also I purchaed the CDRs from http://www.Flawlessmedia.com at the ebay auction. Do any of you know if they are a scam.

It may be that your drive cannot overburn - and this looks like an overburn as far as the drive and software are concerned.

Do an overburn test using CDSPEED - from www.cdspeed2000.com - if it wasn't installed with Nero.

If your drive cannot exceed the 702 Mb / 79:59:74 point, then you have no overburn or 90/99 minute media capability.

And if you cannot get it to attempt a 98 or 99 minute test, try 89 minutes - some drives stop there - or drop to 83, as some drives with minimal overburn capability stop at 83:59.

If Nero is not TRYING, then that suggests you may not have successfully enabled overburning, but the performance of the other program does not give much hope.
