I have an aopen 52x24x52 that produces data disks that are readable by itelf and other drives, but my liteon 24102b will not read any cd burned on the aopen. I have tried three different brands of blanks and different speeds. When a cd is created by the aopen is inserted into the 24102b, the light flashes green until it is removed. Widows explorer is frozen until the cd is removed. The liteon still can burn and read it's own and original cd. According to cdspeed cd quality check run on the aopen, there are no errors on the aopen burned cd. The same cd has quite a few errors when read by my cd readers (which are flakey, so I don't know if there is anything to it). I have updated the aopen and liteon to the latest. The aopen was actually a buslink oem aopen (that I thought would be a liteon) that was converted to pure aopen by flashing to the latest aopen bios. The problem occurs with both firware versions (original 1.04,1.05) Any ideas why this would happen or which drive is faulty?
