Something is fishy about a new 16101b firmware. Seams the drive is reading slower and writing too... Just burned a coaster with CDRWin from a bin file even though got a success message can not see a single file.
Any one else feels bad about this update or its just me?

I found the same thing with the 12/10/32 update. flashed my burner and then after that, never was the same, and amazingly, that firmware was taken off their site. after i flashed back to the old firmware my burner still wasnt the same. so it doesnt shock me to hear ur having problems, i believe it.

which firmware did you flash to? I'm using TS0T and my CDRWIN and Nero both burn coasters "successfully"

Probably you "registered" CDR-Win (and Nero) with a blacklisted ser.number.
GoldenHawk is using this method to tease poor users quite a time, Ahead started using the same method a few releases ago.

Hey all, i think Big Mama is right

My CDRWIN works now =) although I am still using TS0T.
If you were using a hack-registered version of CDRWIN and installed the new CDRWIN (the re-released 3.8E and 4.0a-e) - and you have to because older versions don't support the liteon - then CDRWIN will burn coasters happily.

What it says when you try to double click on the CD is "Cannot open X: Incorrect Function"

To check if it's just CDRWIN that's messing up (so you know that it's because of the blacklisted serial), try burning something with Nero in Disc-At-Once mode (or in EZCD). Also, remember that if you have "RAW" selected when your'e burning a .bin in CDRWIN you WILL get a coaster.

Looks Like with TS0V it works better. But I didn't try CDRwin yet.
