Hello....I have a HL-DT-ST GCE-8160B burner. I have confirmed
that my slowest write speed is 4X which is ok for burning data
files, but when I attempt to burn audio cds I get alot of noise
and crap on the new cd. I am using EZ cd creator 5 platinum and
I guess I would like to know if there is better s/w out there for
the purpose of audio cds?? Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks Ted Boerkamp

I've used both EZ CD Creator and Nero, I'd say Nero is the better of the two hands down. Alot more features and power, also more stable.

For CD Duplication software Alcohol 120% gets my vote.

My 2 Cents

the question you should be asking is, "what software is best for ripping audio CDs?"

the answer is http://www.exactaudiocopy.de

rip the CDs right and even Easily the Crappiest CD Creator should be able to burn it without you hearing glitches.
