After I have flashed my 3500A with BinFlash GUI 1.02 and 2C8_SE_Ritek_4X_DL.bin, the drive is identified as TDK DVDRW1616N 2.C8.
Extra Info 041004_RITEK_DL_4X, Firmware Revision 2.C8, Region Code All, Region Control RPC1, User Changes Left N/A, Vendor Changes Left N/A.

The problem is when reading a region 1 disc it changes to that region and I'm not able to read a region 2 disc. Flashing it with 2.F8 and back again I'm yet again able to read the region 2 discs, until I put in another region 1 disc again. Then it lock to region 1 again. Have I missed anything? or is the SE fw lying?
